Overview

The Access Control system in Spring allows platform admins to manage how investors gain access to their platforms. This provides flexibility in defining access criteria, ensuring that investor onboarding aligns with your syndicate's requirements.

Access Control Panel

Admins can manage platform access through the Access Control panel, which includes three independent settings:

  1. Open/Closed Access

    • Determines whether new investors can apply to the platform.

    • Additional settings apply only if the platform is set to Open.

  2. Basic/Tier Requirements

    • Specifies whether investors must qualify for certain tiers before applying for access.

    • Admins can define which tiers will be checked for Access Control.

    • For more details on how investors experience tier verification, refer to the Tier Checking for Investors section below.

  3. Automatic/Manual Approvals

    • Determines whether investors are automatically accepted once they request access or require admin approval.

Welcome Message Customization

  • Admins can add a rich-text welcome message for investors.

  • This message appears in:

    • The welcome email sent to accepted investors.

    • A modal window the first time they visit Spring after approval.

Tier Checking for Investors

  • Investors applying to syndicates with Tier Requirements can view:

    • The tier requirements directly in the application flow.

    • Their current qualification status based on holdings.

  • Investors can request an immediate eligibility check to reflect recent token acquisitions.
