Before Starting Verification
You’ll need two essential items:-
Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
- Must not be expired

- Mobile devices are preferred for superior photo quality compared to webcams
What You’ll Be Asked to Do
The verification process involves three steps:- Specify your country of citizenship and residency
- Provide a valid government-issued photo ID
- Take a selfie
Photography Guidelines
- Ensure images are clear, well-lit (not too dark or bright), and free from glare
- Keep your ID fully visible; lay it flat for photos
- Remove sunglasses, masks, and accessories from your face
- Avoid overhead lighting that creates shadows
- Don’t position yourself directly in front of bright light sources
KYC Status Definitions
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not started | Verification process hasn’t begun |
| Expired | After you verify your documents or selfie, you will have 24 hours to come back to complete the process. If not, the status will change to ‘expired’. |
| Pending | Under review; may take up to 24 hours |
| Declined | Verification didn’t meet requirements |
| Approved | Verified and cleared to invest |
| Rejected | High-risk assessment determined ineligibility |

Minimum Age? You must be at least 18 years old. Recommended ID Type? The recommended ID type for identity verification is a valid passport. It contains all necessary information and accelerates approval. Timeline? The identity verification process generally takes 2-3 minutes. Most approvals happen immediately, though complex cases may require 1-5 days. Excluded Countries/Regions?- Iran
