What is Spring's OTC trading?

Our OTC Trading allows investors to list, buy, and sell their off-chain allocations in a secondary marketplace inside your platform. Investors can buy or sell their allocations to other individuals both prior to a token's listing (Pre-TGE) and also after the vesting schedule has started (Post-TGE).

Why should you enable OTC trading?

OTC trading allows you to earn passive income.

  • Buy and sell your locked allocations instantly.

  • List buy and sell orders to get more allocations or get liquid.

How to activate the OTC marketplace

  1. Navigate to the OTC tab.

  2. Scroll down and define your EVM Escrow Wallet and your Escrow Fee.

  3. Navigate to the Deals tab.

  4. Click on the Deal you want to enable OTC trading for.

  5. Toggle on the OTC button to enable OTC trades for that deal.

For an allocation to be eligible for sale, OTC trading must be activated by the platform admin for the respective deal.

OTC fee

There is a fee associated with each trade. This fee is charged to the buyer of the allocation.

Fee structure:

  • The escrow fee: A fee that is freely chosen by the manager of a platform.

  • The service fee: A 2.5% fee by Spring on all OTC trades.

How is the fee added?

The fee is added to the total sum of the buy order. This means that if a buyer wants to complete a $1000 OTC trade, the buyer will have to pay $1000 + service fee to complete the purchase.
