How to set up a fundraise

To set up your fundraise

  1. Create a deal: Navigate to Deals in your Admin panel and click New deal.

  2. Add deal info: Add key details about the deal and customize specific details like vesting summary and investment target.

  3. Add pool(s): You'll need to create at least one pool before you fundraise. Pools control who gets access to your deal, and on what terms. Go to Fundraising > Pools.

  4. Start fundraising. Once you click Start Fundraise, you can share the investment link so your investors can start investing in the deal.

    • You can start immediately or schedule a future raise.

    • To share with investors: copy the pool link to share.

    • Fundraising can be paused and resumed at any time.

What is a pool?

Pools control who gets access to your deal, and on what terms.

  • A Private Pool lets you share a unique link for investors. Only those with this link can access and invest in the pool.

  • An All Members Pool makes the deal visible to everyone on your platform. The deal will appear on the Fundraising page and can be highlighted for your members.

  • A Whitelist Pool allows you to manually copy and paste the wallets that should have access. You can also set specific maximum and minimum contribution limits for individual wallets.

  • Tier-based pools enable you to create pools based on predefined criteria, such as token holdings, NFTs, or user levels.

Additionally, you can control when each pool opens and closes. When you toggle Open to Contributions the pool becomes available for investment when the fundraise begins. This option provides flexibility to manage pools throughout the fundraising process.

Setting a Pool Cap establishes the pool's maximum contribution limit. Once this cap is reached, the pool will automatically close.

Multiple pools

You can create multiple pools within the same deal. If you have different tiers or groups of investors, you can create pools with different rulesets for each tier/group. Pools can be edited while you are fundraising.
